A feeling that makes everyone smile — "Nostalgia”

A feeling that makes everyone happy—nostalgia

Nostalgia struck me as I downloaded this picture from the internet and couldn't stop writing about it in my journal.

As soon as you hear the word "nostalgia," a flood of memories of a past person or event enters your mind. A smile is almost guaranteed, I think.

In most cases, this emotion sends us to a carefree time when we were younger. Everyone was just concerned about their grades, PE classes, winning races, getting awards for their achievements, and maybe even reliving a bygone TV commercial for a chocolate bar or cola that is no longer sold.

To give you an example, when I was a kid, I thought Santa Claus and magic were real. As a child, I thought Santa Claus really does live and will visit our house to deliver presents and sweets. He is a real being. But nowadays, children rely too much on their phones instead of building relationships, and they no longer believe in magic and tales. Even they know Santa Claus isn't real. Too bad! Rejoicing ends.

How can this be resolved? It's better to pass on some memories from your youth to the next generation, in my opinion. As an example, why not take the kids on a ride on the local bus or train instead of a bike or car? Instead of glued to your phone during the wedding of your close friends and family, why not build a fort out of pillows and beds and play with the kids for a bit?

For the next generation, I have no idea whether it will be enjoyable or not, but I do know that it will contain many fond memories.
